I know I haven’t been posting as much lately, so what have I been doing? Well. I’ve been teaching myself how to screen-castify which is super fun. It’s the ability to record your screen as you move around on it, to create videos. So you can use it to teach a lesson and in my case, I’m using it to create video tutorials on how to navigate various online resources my students use.

I’ve also been making more bitmoji classroom pages that highlight various resources. I think it will be a fun addition to my library website and hopefully the kids will enjoy using the site more too. Here’s an art one I created recently 🙂

Additionally, I’ve been reading book reviews and book lists, to create a summer reading list, to continue adding to my book order lists for next year, and to compile resources for our department.

And finally, I’ve been doing reading and research on how to best manage our library and books next year when we return to school. I think I have some decent ideas so far, but still putting together my plan.

So that’s what I’ve been doing and why I haven’t been posting as much.

I hope to continue to post cool things as I see them, even during the summer, but I probably will slow down then too.
